The Premise
Brilliance is not a scarcity. Access has been.
For over a century, the highest honor in chemistry has rarely recognized scientists from every background equally. That gap is not a measure of capability. It is a measure of the walls between people and the labs, mentors, and platforms where discovery becomes visible. Labor of Science exists to dissolve those walls, starting at UNC Chapel Hill.
